The brand new State of the Art Life Saving Club facilities at Edithvale beach incorporates a number of Britex Stainless Steel Vandal Resistant Beach Shower Columns. BRITEX Stainless Steel Shower Columns are manufactured from marine grade 316 stainless steel and available in round or square profiles with single or multiple outlets to suit specific requirements. All water efficient timed flow, tapware connections are concealed and vandal resistant. Foot wash taps are optional. Maintenance can be carried out via access hatches on top of the post (for shower head) or in the side of the post (activators/foot wash taps). Suited to public spaces such as beach fronts and reserves or in residential projects.

In this case study, three square columns were supplied incorporating shower head foot wash and safety grab rail on each. These were supplied in two heights for adult and junior use.

ABOUT

The brand new $5.75 million dollar Life Saving Club at Edithvale Beach has been built thanks to a partnership between Kingston Council and the Victorian Government. It was opened in March 2020.

The new state-of-the-art facility has been designed to ensure the club can continue to provide this vital community service to the more than 22,000 visitors who visit Edithvale beach each summer.
