Britex Security Combination Units for Dillwynia Correctional Facility
Another truck has been loaded up as the BRITEX Security Combination Units continue to roll out into the Australian correctional landscape. Headed for Dillwynia Correctional Facility in New South Wales, these 220 Security Combination Units will be installed as part of the Government’s Dillwynia expansion project.

Britex Security Combination Unit (SCU)
The Britex Security Combination Unit is a stainless steel toilet and basin combination unit. Fully welded with ligature-proof construction, it is consistently selected for use in prisons, holding cells and detention facilities that require optimal vandal resistance. The toilet pan comes with a contraband-proof flushing rim, and the one-piece pressed bowln provides water efficient flushing.
Security Hand Basin (SHB)
The Security Hand Wash Basin is a prison-grade, robust wash basin with a fully welded, radiused front edge that conceals a stainless steel bar within to provide additional safety and maximum resistance to any applied forces. There are no ligature points and all fixing points are concealed. All plumbing connections are secure within the stainless steel shroud.
Accessible Drinking Fountain (DDIS)
The Accessible Drinking Fountain is a robust, freestanding pedestal fountain that is ideal for public use. It is secured to the ground with an integral stainless steel fixing plate and is fully welded with radiused corners. The fountain also features a front push button and timed flow bubbler. The fountain is available in single bowl and twin bowl configurations, and both models are compliant with AS1428.
Security Stainless Steel Mirror (SMIR)
The Britex Security Stainless Steel Mirror is manufactured from premium quality #8 True Mirror finish stainless steel. Ideal for prisons, police stations and detention centres, this mirror is smash-resistant and will not shatter, crack or craze. Bonded to MR substrate to ensure mirrored surface remains flat, the Security Stainless Steel Mirror is available with a concealed fixing bracket or with front fixings. Custom designs are also available by request.
