It's with great pleasure that Britex announces its three newest team members: Steve Farnell, David Kelly and James Evans.
Steve Farnell joins our Melbourne team, possessing an unparalleled amount of industry experience, having spent many years (probably more than he’d like to admit) in the commercial building industry – predominantly assisting Australia’s finest architects, hydraulic engineers and interior designers with product selection and consulting on matters of a technical nature – as he will continue to do in his role with Britex.
David Kelly also joins our Melbourne office with a wealth of experience in the commercial projects industry, having previously held senior roles with some of Australia’s most well respected suppliers to the plumbing and building products market. David’s role with Britex will see him working closely with our most important specifier, retail and trade clients.
James Evans joins our recently opened Brisbane office having previously worked for our former sales agent in the S.E. QLD area, and prior to that, as a manager for a major plumbing products retailer. James will be working primarily with our greatly valued retail and trade clients as well as assisting specifiers with their Britex product requirements.
Three greatly experienced, knowledgeable and extremely valuable additions to the Britex Team – that seems to be growing by the week!

As Australia’s industry leader in the supply of stainless steel sanitary products, BRITEX works hard to ensure all products possess the required certifications in accordance with plumbing regulations (WaterMark) and government legislation (WELS). Products requiring certifications include all urinals, toilets, cisterns, flushing mechanisms, tapware and waste outlets. Products that fail to possess these certifcations are illegal to sell/install and failure to comply can result in hefty fines. These certifications guarantee that fixtures are manufactured to strict Q.A. guidelines, are compatible with associated plumbing infrastructure and comply with plumbing regulations and building codes.

Stainless Steel Waterfree Urinals from BRITEX

Designed to function without any water, Britex Barren waterfree urinals are a great way to conserve water. Providing further benefits to the environment, the Barren waterfree urinal is manufactured from 100% recycled stainless steel.

Maintenance costs are also a thing of the past for this unique waterfree urinal. Unlike other waterfree urinals that require periodic maintenance and the replacement of cartridges or sealant fluids, the Barren waterfree urinal utilises a 'one-way' valve. After urine has flowed through the valve, it closes up and traps all odour within the plumbing. The only 'maintenance' Britex recommends is the occasional squirt of fresh water or disinfectant over the urinal surface, just like any other bathroom sanitary fixture.
